I just noticed this: according to today’s Nanos poll, there’s a three-way statistical tie for second place in Quebec between the NDP, the Liberals and the Conservatives. (The Bloc is way out in front at 42%. The Greens get lovely parting gifts.)

This is going to be one nail-biter of an election night. We’re already being treated to some very different scenarios depending on which pollster you believe: Nanos says the Conservatives have been in decline, while Ekos still has them comfortably in front of the Liberals, who have only a slim lead on the NDP. Angus Reid lands kind of in the middle.

Which means the one thing you can count on is that on October 15th, at least one pollster is going to look awfully silly.
