The New Democrats are scratching their heads after the Liberals pledged Friday to create a $25 million “Heroes Fund,” for families of first responders killed in the line of duty.
The NDP proposed a similar plan last October, and 59 Liberal MPs and cabinet ministers voted against the private member’s bill.
