Like so many of his viewers, I never met Bill Cameron… but I’ll miss him terribly. His voice had one of the most distinctive timbres in TV journalism. And he never took himself as seriously as he did the craft. (See, for instance, his recurring – and hysterical – presence on Puppets Who Kill.)
