{"id":692,"date":"2010-02-07T00:24:09","date_gmt":"2010-02-07T08:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.robcottingham.ca\/cartoon\/?p=692"},"modified":"2010-04-02T10:14:48","modified_gmt":"2010-04-02T17:14:48","slug":"how-to-use-your-laptop-as-a-lightbox","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.robcottingham.ca\/cartoon\/how-to-use-your-laptop-as-a-lightbox\/","title":{"rendered":"How to use your laptop as a lightbox"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><object width=\"480\" height=\"295\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/BbimJBr2ABc&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Work took me to London this week &#8211; exciting stuff, as I&#8217;ve never really been (that overnight at Heathrow doesn&#8217;t exactly count), and I&#8217;ve been loving every jet-lagged moment of it.<\/p>\n<p>But that didn&#8217;t mean I could skip my deadline at <a href=\"http:\/\/readwriteweb.com\">ReadWriteWeb<\/a> this weekend, did it? And yet here I was eight time zones away from my beloved Cintiq &ndash; excuse me, that should read &#8220;from my beloved, comma, from my Cintiq&#8230;&#8221; &ndash; and from my tracing paper. It was late at night and, seat of empire and cultural crucible though London may be, I was pretty sure there wouldn&#8217;t be a 24-hour art supply shop anywhere near my Islington hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Also, that would have required me to <em>move<\/em>.
